Aspiring Writer And "Easy Rider"
Sarah Ferguson is an aspiring writer who lives in the little town of Lucerne Valley in the Mojave Desert of Southern California. She moved there to start college, having grown up only a few miles away. Sarah is 21, married to a policeman, and they have a beautiful little boy named Christopher. She is studying math while hoping to "jump start" a career in writing. Judging from her contest entry, that time won't be too far down the road.
Her inaugural piece on the Amazing Authors Showcase is a fascinating short story about a ride on the back of her Dad's motorcycle. It is funny, free-flowing and full of an innocence that will not only make you smile, but give you something to think about the rest of the day. As I read it, it reminded me of scenes from the classic movie, EASY RIDER. See what you think.
