John Darling
Poet, Historian, and Time Traveler
John Darling is a free
lance writer who resides in Ventura, CA. He has been writing off and on for
most of his life, but only began serious publishing efforts in the last few
years. Though he specializes in short stories, he also writes an occasional
poem and magazine article.
His most recent book publication, What's In A Name? The Book of Bands, takes a fascinating look at bands and singers. It examines what inspired them to choose their, sometime unusual, stage names.
John is currently marketing another book entitled Chronicles. This work is a collection of short stories and poems about people and animals in extraordinary life situations. The excerpt on Time Travel featured here in The Amazing Authors Showcase is part of that collection.
