Jim
Gleacher is a twenty-nine year old writer who lives in Boulder, Colorado.
He has an MFA from the Naropa Institute and his work has been published in
The Sun magazine, the Lullwater Review, and Damaged Goods. In 1997 he received
honorable mention in the Richard DuPrey Awards for poetry. In 1998 he won
the Jack Kerouac Award for fiction. He is currently working for PeerCare,
an Internet community of support groups for those affected by an illness
or disease.
Jimmy recently finished his first novel, ROLL AGAIN, and is actively seeking an agent and/or publisher. Some of Jim's other work can be found in an upcoming issue of 2wice magazine (May 2000). His vignette, "When He Had It On" is featured here on the Showcase for your reading pleasure.
