Thomas W. Horner

Tom developed diabetes at age forty-one which progressed to total disability by 1987 when he resumed serious writing to combat his forced idleness. He now draws heavily on his experiences in the investigative field to bring his writing to life.
Tom's fiction works include:
VENGEANCE IS MINE completed in December 1992; DELIVER US FROM EVIL (a tongue in cheek love story between a mortal and a vampire) completed in 1994; THOU SHALT NOT (covet thy neighbor's wife), a murder mystery, dealing with a minister's personal struggle with his wife's possible infidelity, completed in 1995; HAVE A HEART in which a man sees an opportunity to make a lot of money by bringing together a dying man and a wealthy man who needs a heart transplant; POWER QUEST which deals with the investigation of the murder of the President of The United States; and a host of short stories including "The Feeling," dealing with a lonely spirit; "Behold, a Multitude," in which a "normal" Christian man having his own special definition of morality finds his wife and a few other good Christians missing; "Mike's Surprise Gift," a story of a hunting dog's gift to his master, "Greater Love Hath No Man," a story of an older Doberman Pincher, who was becoming a burden until he saves his master's life and "Dad" (posted here in the Showcase) which deals with a death premonition followed by death experience.

Tom Horner married his childhood sweetheart and the marriage has lasted forty-two
years. He is a former private investigator and security advisor to the US
Department of State where he worked with Foreign Service, CIA and FBI
agents.
