Yesterday I was searching through some old boxes and I came across a Shakespeare book. It's titled "The Oxford Shakespeare:
The Complete works of William Shakespeare" and its edited by W.J. Craig. It's dated 1923, but on the front page is a signature of "Margaret C. Sessions, September 1924" or "Lessions" (I can't read the handwriting very well, its very delicate and thin).
On the back she also wrote (I tried my best to deciepher it haha):
"Shakespeare felt that woman's
love was eternal,all suffering,
all enduring. Women trusted
and hopeful of loven's love.
Critical of everyone who talks
Pig-headed
Bottom of little account."
I've typed it as-is. The book itself has a red cover with "Shakespeare" in gold print. It's soft cover with worn edges. The spine seems to be coming off as well. I'm only 15, so I'm not sure whether or not this may have some value or I'll just be wasting my time. If someone could possibly give me some history on th book or maybe a value to it, that would be wonderful.
