The source saying the prophet Mohamad married Aisha at 6 yo is NOT in the KOran but in what we call the Hadiths. THe Hadiths are books relating reported talks of the Prophet and his friends and family.
I, in previous posts, talked about my doubt concerning the Hadiths and some bad thoughts it brings. Also, the hadiths are not accurate as they are alleged reports ( x said to z that c said to ....that the prophet...).

Here is the corresponding Hadith:

Aisha alleged talks in Hadith:

"The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Alright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Merits of the Helpers in Madinah (Ansaar), Volume 5, Book 58, Number 234)"

The is alleged to have occured when she was 9. Other sources say she was 11.

The marriage of young girls was usual at the time not only in arab world but in whole world.

Here are some alleged facts about Mary:

Mary was approximately 14 years old when she got pregnant with Jesus. Joseph, Mary's Husband is believed to be around 36. Mary was only 13 when she married Joseph. When she first was arranged with Joseph she was between 7 to 9 years old."
According to the "Oxford Dictionary Bible" commentary, Mary (peace be upon her) was 12 years old when she became impregnated.
