I am really surprised by the comments made by these people in here who knows nothing about Hinduism.

Hinduims contains hundreds and hundreds of sages. Some of them very kind and peacefull, and some of them easily irritable and powerfull enough to send shivers down the spines of demi gods.

Agastayar is said to have eaten one of the Devils alive. Doesn't mean he is a cannibal. It means a sage is capable of anything when it comes to the welfare of the normal people.

and Thiru Valluvar, said "Kollan pulanai ella yurium kai koopi tholum." It means, If a person doesn't kill a single living being, all life will prey to him with both palms placed togather."

A true Hindu, should not kill anyorganism. Unfortunately in this kalki yuga that is an impossibility. But in the distant feature Hinduism can be practised at its purest. :)

and also know this, if there is light, then there is dark. if there is fire then there is water. If there is good then there is also good.
A sacred thing can be made sacred by using one's soul. But a sacred thing can be made unholy and by that an agent of evil, by channaling the energies of soul to do evil. Hinduism acknoledege both these possibilities.

but there are consequences to the later.
