I found the book Utopian Pessimist: The Life and Thought of Simone Weil, to be very enlightening as it contained quite a bit of information I hadn't found anywhere else, biographical details and photos I hadn't seen before. Now for some reason the author's name has escaped me, yet I've read at least another book by him, a primer on Ideology. It's some Mac or Mc name...I think it's a little late at night for me and I've had a long day...do a search on the titles and 'Weil' and I'm sure you'll find it.

Note: the first time I sent this message I had it returned with a censorship warning...the U.S. congress apparently does not like the word doc*mentary, as it may contain some kind of obscenity!
