All human endeavor is restricted by Ma ss , Space and Time. This is also evident in all equations in physics which can always be reduced to these three fundamental dimensions (M-L-T).
If anything lies outside the envelope imposed by MLT it may be called "Transcendence"
This being similar one falling into a sense of rapture on falling in love, while reading clas sic novel where the reader may even go back in time or the thrilling feeling one gets while listening to favorite music or while encountering a fantastic natural scene like a sea shore, stars, sky or mountain or fabulous piece of art be it painting sculpture or clay or any arrangement even furniture or things or musical notes or flowers, perfumes, food ingredients etc..
At such moments one tends to forget the surroundings (space=0) feels light (Ma ss=0) and time seems to come to a standstill (Time=0)
Transcendence therefore is crossing the MLT barrier somehow. Unfortunately, we think due to our ignorance that such a feat occurs due to the objects external to us are involved since encountering them triggered ua into such a state of rapture. Subsequently all our attempts are towards possessing such objects or recapture the events or the sequences rather than realizing the truth that the blissful feeling is really due to our being with our own true inner center of our very being.
A person like Mr Stephen Jourdain, who is like a living sage in France, as narrated in the book titled "The Radical Awakening", may be able to throw more light on the subject.
Though we are always dealing with objects events and the cosmos without the subjective reality of the experiencer or the witnessing element living would be meaningless. Contemplating on this subjective element underlying all our perceptions ultimately seems to make one realize that observer and the observed merge and both vanish when rapturous illumination occurs as if it were a digital transformation.
