Interesting. Knowing "where you are" depends on knowing your place relative to familiar objects. Likewise--is this what you're suggesting?--NOT knowing where you are depends on knowing where you are relative to unfamiliar objects.

But, if there is no map at all, one cannot be lost. There is no map that refers to an area larger than the universe. We cannot therefore feel that the universe's "location" is either known or unknown. To be "lost" is to have an unknown location. The universe, however, has no location at all.
