The gap so sensed is owing to our body-conscious ness due to which each one thinks that he/she is the body-mind apparatus only. Due to this fundamental error (original sin?) the notion of "space" appears due to which further movement of the mind on such a virtual space gives rise to the notion of "time" also.
Whether religion or otherwise, such notions always would remain unless one realizes firsthand that the domain of LOVE alone lies outside these limiting factors. A child knows no religion but feels LOVE all the same. Consequently, one's sensitivity to immerse in LOVE unconditionally holds the key.
Pleasure and pain being the two sides of the same virtual coin called ignorance, either we have both or none.
