I am very idealistic. This may be due to the ignorance of reality that so often blinds youth, but surely there is hope for mankind. Imagine for instance, if none of this kind existed, if there were none with the vision of changing all of humanity for the better. Where would we be? Humanity would be worse off. More children would be without mothers, men without food, countless without a reason to live. If every man sought only the improvement of his own physical/spiritual/financial/etc. state, intrest in the common good would vanish. Economics does not work here; if I focus more on myself, others will suffer.

And change in humanity does occur. Suffering is diminished. In the Dark Ages, the average life expectancy was half what it is now, because people changed humanity for the better. I still hold hope that the pain of this world can be relieved. I want to change all of mankind.
