: i need to write a 2 page paper on this question. Please explain the different types of virtue expoused by aristotle. How do these differ from plato's? can you help me i am totally lost in this subject.
The differences between Plato and Aristotle's outlooks on virtue are (i) partially their approaches in depicting the virtue and vices (e.g. Plato employs the three principles of the soul to delineate and explain the four cardinal virtues) and (ii) partially substantive (e.g. the peculiarities of the Platonic metaphysic make the Platonic ethics ascetic, whereas the distinctive traits of the Aristotelian metaphysic render Aristotle's ethics more conventional).
If any of this seems helpful, just follow up.
