I friend of mine had one and be borrowed another and took it to a beautiful high mountain lake. It was one of the best times on the water I ever had. We peddled for about 4 or 5 hours with virtually no stops. It was wonderful. I am not wild about whitewater - rather chicken acutally. This was relaxing and enjoyable. We put my small dog in the storage (open of course). This worked well until he popped up on the deck, and then fell in.
Setup was a snap. Loading and Unloading was as easy as any kayak would be. Pop the fins in, turn tow screw/stays, and one clip. I wish it had a little higher sides so a skirt could be put on. The paddle bunjies on the side for reverse, which we used twice. It appears to have enough storage for a short camping trip. Her and I raced the last 50 yards to the dock. It moves at a pretty good clip. I will buy my own.
