I just bought a used silma model 70 EJ 12 gauge from a friend of mine. It has improved cylinder and modified fixed chokes in the barrels and doesn't have a barrel selector. It only has 3" chambers and doesn't have auto ejectors, but that isn't a big deal. I bought the gun because it looked like it has excellent quality. I shot the gun at the range before I bought it and at 25 yards every load patterned great through both barrels. I reload 1-6 shot, 1 1/8-7 1/2 shot, 1 1/4-6 shot, 1 3/8-5 shot, and 1 1/2-4 shot loads. I shot all of them plus hevi-shot and bismuth through the gun. All of the loads shot great. I paid $350 for the gun and it looks brand new. I compared it to Brownings and Rugers and for the price you can't go wrong. Used Brownings and Rugers go for $800-$900. I'm thinking about buying a new one when I have the money.
