Here where I live we have an editorial section in our local newspaper. The road I live on was in poor condition and was in bad need of repair. No one could get the county commissioners to do any thing about the condition of the road even though they had tried for years. I wrote a few editorials and sent along a cartoon with each. In three months I got new blacktop added to 13 miles of road. I can ure you that it was not the editorials that got the road paved but the cartoons did the trick.
