: According to part 4 Art.2 Sec.1, of the U.S. Constitution "No Person except a natural born Citizen ... shall be eligible to the Office of President; ". Therefore in strict accordance with the ACTUAL MEANING of the Constitution [as distinguished from intended meaning] citizens delivered by natural child birth in for example Canada, North Korea, or Iraq, may be eligible, while U.S. citizens born by cesarean section in the United States are not. If George W. Bush or any other Presidential hopeful was born by cesarean section, should: : a) s/he be forbidden to hold Presidential office : b) the U.S. Constitution be amended changing that phrase "natural born" to "native born" to render otherwise qualified U.S. citizens born by cesarean section eligible to hold Presidential office? : What legal criteria should we accept as proof of eligibility? : If we allow this Constitutional enumeration to be overlooked / ignored, what other specification/s in our Constitution will be next to fall? : At what point during the campaign should this legal proof be required?
