hi, i was just wondering what was the point of the whole book. i read this book for my Modern Lit cl, and our teachers wants us to summerize the book but write it as a childrens book. Basically we are suppose to right a childrens book, summerizing the idea and point about 1984.
So if you could tell me what the point is.
I think the point of the book is about currouption and tarship.People like rules because it decreses responsiblity for them,but at the same time they can't handle them. winston wants to rebell against the party but doesn't give us any idea about what he wants to do if the party does vaporize. if he stops the party, won't he still be dicatored by another and by his own mind!
