I was wondering about a few things in the book that seem inaccurate if the popular name interpratations in the book are accurate.
For one, Old Bull Lee, who is said to characteriza William S. Boroughs, is potrayed as a married man in New Orleans. It is also known that William S.Boroughs is an open homoual.
Is there a reason Jack decided to have him married in the book?
Another one is the character Carlo Marx, who is said to be Allen Ginsberg. In the novel, besides being the most productive poet, he was also a musician who was plaing a horn in an old jazz club where Dean and Sal were engaging thenselves in.
Was Allen an avid jazz musician?
Thablk you to all reploes. :)
