: Hello,
: Being a 14 year old that usually dosent listen to this type of music, i cant understand the words to confutatis & the lacrymosa.I would like to know if anyone can tell me where to find the words to these two songs or to the whole requiem..
: Thanks,
: Ash
Ash, Here are the words and a rough translation for both confutatis and Lacrymosa (I love lacrymosa)
Confutatis, maledictis, Flammis acribus, addicits: Voca me benedictis. Oro suplex et acclinis, Cor contritum quasi cinis: Cere curamme finis (Repeat as need)
When the wicked are confounded,Dommed to flames of woe unbounded, Call me, with Thy Saints Surrounded. Low I kneal, with heart submission! See, like ashes my contrition! Help me in my last condition.
Lacrymosa, dies illa, qua resurget ex favilla, Judicandus homo reus. Lacrymosa, dies illa, qua resurget ex favilla, Judicandus homo reus. Huie ergo parce deus, pie jesu , jesu domine. Donaeis Requiem, donaeis requiem. Amen
Day of Sadness, Day of Regret, From the dust of earth returning, Man for judgement must prepare him! Spare, O God, in mercy spare him! Lord, all pitying, jesu blest, Grant them Thine eternal rest. Amen
Hope i was of some help. By the way do u like this stuff? Maybe we could chat sometime.
