It was played on Radio last Sunday 12 October 2003. It has been re released on EMI 5 75956 2 in the UK. It appears to be a two disc CD and I don't know what the other bits are.

: : : : : Can anyone help me? I am trying to find the original source (somewhere in the music of Willam
: : : : : Byrd) for what is identified in a composition by
: : : : : Carl Orff as: "Entrata (Entrada?)after William
: : : : : Byrd."
: : : : :I have tried everything I know to come up with an answer; however, my knowledge of Orff's lesser
: : : : :known (?) music, to say nothing of Byrd, has frustrated my every effort.
: : : : : Thank you
: : : : PS: Sorry for the "Boyce" (big time error)
: : may 19,2003.I discovered orff`s Entrata about 15yrs ago while listening to old lp`s from the library in Corvallis, oregon.it was on a warner bros album of opera highlights.about 10 yrs ago i found it in los angeles on casette tape from deutsche grammaphone in its "Hooked on Clics" series. It was in a small record store in Topanga Plaza,Woodland Hills,Ca.
: Hello, Orff buff,
: You can hearmost of Orff's "Entrata" at the end of the soundtrack for the film "The Last Detail," with Jack Nicholson and Andy Quaid.
