yes, schumann's Pn Conc is dedicated to his wife. Original it was a 1 mvt work, entitled "Fantasy", but Schumann later added in the 2nd and third mvts to make it a full-conc. It was sort of a wedding gift for Clara, tt's why it's so dreamy and full of beautiful melodies. Gd luck for your concert

: hello, i am currently looking for information about schumann's piano conerto Op54 or anyone who loves this piece of music. any ysis, story about it will be very useful. did schumann write it for a special reason? was he going through a particularly emotional period? was it dedicated to his wife?
