As you mentioned, the actual piece is shorter than the piece in the end credits of Exorcist III. I have never searched for the perfomance from the movie itself (although I am sure it cannot be better performed) but if you know the piece and listen closely you can hear the section that is repeated. It is my opinion that the film makers just took the performance of the original piece and repeated a section to make it fit the credits. I don't think that it would be available unless someone copied it from the movie itself. I believe the film says who performed the piece and I would bet that if you ever found the actual recording it would be the original "short" version. As for the gloria before the piece in the movie, I don't know where it comes from but it is not from the Lagrime di San Pietro (which contains come faldi di neve fro). I would bet that the gloria is from the same time period but not necessarily by Lus. If you like the Exorcist III and ever make it to Washington D.C. visit the Georgetown neighborhood, including the university and you can see the steps, Wisconsin and M street where the Father Dyer waits for Kinderman before the movie in front of a gold dome, and the university buildings and churches that feature prominently. Exorcist III-greatest horror film of all time.
: Does anyone know where to find this version of 4,5 minutes??????
: The song on Lagrime de san pietro counts 2 and a half minute alas....
