Just to let you know: If you want to hear the "true" Mussorgsky, listen to the original piano version of the Pictures played by Ashkenazy. I just recorded it on tape from a record and I'm amazed by this piece. I don't know why you bother listening to Ravel and other transcriptions. Listen to the master in his original manifestation. It's worth it.
