: a public library here wants to charge me $15 for a replacement of Brahms Complete Trios on the Philips Duo Label (438 365-2) claiming that i lost the liner notes. what they have done, at least i think, is repackage the 2 CDs in a generic plastic jewel case with a pocket for the notes on the front outside. well, the liner notes are in the front pocket but they won't listen to reason. i explained to them that in the original jewel case there was no room for any extra liner notes inside. they won't fit.additionally, i mentiioned that the Duo series were for budget minded consumers and Philips would not spent money putting two discs in a jewel case with any kind of expanded notes. as an example for them, i pulled another 2 disc set from the same series and let them examine it for any internal notes (aside from the ones that face the front). lo and behold, there were no other notes. flying in the face of rationality they deferred to the regular librarian who was not around at the time. can anyone out there confirm that this 2 disc set has not extra internal liner notes. at this point i don't care about the fifteen bucks only getting them to admit their mistake. : thanks
