If Beethoven and Schiller were set the task of penning and composing and ode to the Soccer World Championships, which is the greatest event in the modern world and could well have caught their interest, do people think they might have come up with something like this song, Champions Of The World, which is available as lyrics and as a recorded piece of work at:
