Dear Boreades fan-i have only heard excerps from this opera and i wasn't too impressed, there seems to be too much chat. However, i am returning to Rammy babes; it's lent, and why not? he is much better than Lully. Unfortunately, for 'contractual reasons', this by no ,means star offering has no libretto. It is truly pathetic, and typical of the french.Could you tell me what the highlights are for you of this work- i can get hold of it in london's best music library- maybe it is just act one that isn't all that good?
Sorry i couldn't help- i quite like Fetes de L'Hebe and i'm exploring Dard at the moment.
