: : There are at least two different versions o this opera: on october the 24 th of 1737, Rameau presented at the Acádemie Royale de Musique this his second tragedie lirique.
On january 1754, during the Querelle des buffons, Rameau preented a second version of this opera, widely changed.
There is a considerably important amount of information in the leaflets of both versions.
The compelte version I know was published by Harmonia Mundi in 1993, being conducted by William Christie and the orchestra Les Arts Florissants (name taken after another work by Rameau).
The camber version of 1754 was published by Auvidis France in 1998, being conducted by Jean-Christophe Frisch with the orchestra Musique des Lumieres.
Both version include a leaflet with numerous information about the tragedie lirique.
I hope the information may be useful to you.
