I'm not sure if this would suit the vocal range you are looking for but yes, Rameau did write religious music. There is a lovely William Christie recording of his 3 motets (Erato 1994 - D112056)'In Convertando', 'Quam Dilecta' and 'Deus Noster Refugium', which have the rich, gorgeous sounds and dramatic qualities we all love from his operas, while being quite distinct in style.
