Hi,
I am a uni student and am attempting to write a paper on the theatrical works of Purcell (and Handel), between 1680's and 1730, in terms of voice types, style of vocal writing, types of libretto, plot, setting, characterisation, role of instrumental ensemble incl. continuo section.
If any one has any amazing, or infact any, information on that subject and would love to share their personal ideas, I would love to hear from you.
