I am producing the programme for 'Opera Gala 2000' which will be performed
in Spain in the newly renovated and re-equipped theatre at Fontilles (a
sanatorium for leprosy set in the heart of the Valencian countryside).
The gala will be performed by a group comprising both English and
Spanish singers, best known of whom is probably John Brecknock (tenor).
The extracts for the first part will consist of La Traviata (Act 1), La Boheme
(Act 1), Lakmé (Act 1) and Rigoletto (Act 3)
I would like to illustrate the programme with maybe pictures of the composers
or contemporary posters or something similar.
Can anyone point me at links where I might obtain such material.
Thank you in anticipation.
Graham
