: : Would anyone know the answer to this question.

: : Which famous composer was a keen racegoer and punter?
: : Edward Elgar, Frederick Delius, Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams.

: Elgar!

: Holst was born in Cheltenham, famous for its horse racing. Holst was a friend of Vaughan Williams but I don't know if either, or both, ever went to the races at Cheltenham.

: Coincidently, Elgar, Holst and Delius all died in 1934
