Hi all,
Who here finds the handcrossings as challenging as I do? I'm learning K 113 and K 146 and am amazed how quickly one has to move his or her arms, in ways God never intended the human body to move, to stay in tempo on these pieces.
I know that DS stopped including handcrossings in his "later" sonatas because the Queen was becoming quite corpulent in her mature years, rendering the extreme body movements a bit undignified for Her Majesty.
Has anyone here hurt themselves trying to cross their hands on K 113?
Stephen
