: : Can anybody tell me about the song "Divinities du Mort"?(sp?) I think it is from a Gluck opera but I'm not sure. Thank You Billy Chapman
: This should be "Divinités du Styx,pâles compagne de la Mort"and it's extracted from Alceste.

Could anyone provide me with the original french text of Divinités du Styx from the opera Alceste by Gluck. A student of mine in Shanghai has to sing it in french and her copy is crowded wirh mistakes so I sometimes can only guess the spelling -thanks
