I'm solo flute in the National Orchestra of Spain, and prepare a book of flute repertoire. I send you a short explanation on G flute concerto of Gluck (I dont't have more). Good luck !!

Concierto en Sol mayor para flauta y orquesta
La atribución de la obra es objeto de dudas. Poco sabemos sobre las circunstancias que rodean a este hermoso concierto, de cuyo supuesto autor apenas nos ha llegado música instrumental. Con doble razón, cabe felicitarse de que se haya conservado este hermoso concierto; en él se puede adivinar la influencia de la Escuela de Mannheim. Se barajan dos hipótesis acerca de su origen, sin descartar dudas acerca de su autoría. Pudiera corresponder a un viaje a Londres realizado en 1746 o a la etapa en la que estuvo al servicio de Joseph Friederich Wilhelm príncipe de Saxe-Hildburghausen en Viena, en torno a 1752.
Se abre el concierto con un elegante Allegro non molto en el que la distinción y belleza están muy por encima de un sentido virtuosístico reducido al mínimo. El movimiento central, Adagio, es una página magnífica, de una excelsa serenidad, en la línea de las mejores melodías del clasicismo. Concluye el concierto con un Allegro commodo de carácter radiante. Los tres movimientos propician la ejecución de las respectivas cadencias.
