: Thank you, sincerely

Here is the latin text for Carlo Gesualdo's motet "Peccantem me cotidie":

Peccantem me quotidie, et non me poenitentem,
Timor mortis conturbat me
Quia in inferno nulla est redemptio.
Miserere mei, Deus, et salva me.

---

Translation:

Each day do I sin and yet not repent thereof.
The fear of death overwhelmeth me
For in Hell there is no redemption
Have pity on me, o God, and save me.

---

Here is the original text Gesualdo used as his source. It is a responsory (from Office of the dead/3rd nocturn/7th lesson). He omitted the second part and used only the first one, thence the clification as "motet" rather than "responsory".

Peccantem me cotidie et non penitentem
timor mortis conturbat me.
Quia in inferno nulla est redempcio
miserere mei deus et salva me.

Deus in nomine tuo salvum me
fac et in virtute libera me.
Quia in inferno.

---

I hope this was helpful enough.
