: I realize I'm an idiot and I acknowledge that I know absoloutly nothing of clasical music. However, I need to identify a clasical song.
: The peice is very popular in movies and commercials, and is often used in battle scenes. Unfortunetly I cannot think of any movies off hand. The peice has women chanting "Hal-le-lu-jah" accompanied by very powerful precussion and strings. That's really all I can give you, sorry. Any suggestions? Thanks.
dont worry mate, we all have the same problem sometimes!
i think (though this might be way off mark) you might be thinking of the 'Hallelujah chorus' from the'Messiah' by George Fredrick Handel. it's very famous and was used in amoung others 'man on the moon' 'face/off' and 'bridget jones' diary'
hope it helps
