: As I was researching Antonio Carlos Jxbim's use of Chopin's "Prelude in E Minor" as a basis for "How Insensitive, for a jazz pianist friend, it came to mind that clxssical composers stole from each other too. : I don't remamber it it was the chords of Schubert's or Gounod's Ave Maria that were used as the basis for another melody (or maybe it was the other way around).
