Ah! Which do I like best? Depends on which one I'm listening to!

But I suppose if I had to choose one of each, they would be those of B8 and M3. Such serenity! Serenity deep enough to survive any amount of tribulations.

BTW, I've never yet heard the M3 Finale performed satisfactorily. The two recordings I have are the early Solti and Levine/Chicago. Solti is simply too fast, and Levine holds the orchestra back too much and makes some odd tempo changes at the end. I believe I heard Horenstein's recording once, but even it was a little fast for my taste. Who's the best in your experience?
