You are correct, Warren, as that's the first impression one usually gets when confronted with such horrible events the last century has seen.

Since m media was quite rare at the time, doentary film of that event was scarse and fragmentary. And that tragedy was soon to be eclipsed by the events of the first WW. The interviews of the last generation of survivors i doented show physical, and yes, emotional (psychological) scars as well - even after all these years. Combining the footage i've doented possibly with other film and/or still images available (such as people "marching" in line (some of them with no clothing) and other horrible scenes) with the right music, Armenian or otherwise - as discussed, adds full impact needed to make a successful doentary film.
