: My pastor has an old lithograph which illustrates Martin Luther in the center, with smaller illustrations of important periods of his life all around the central portrait.
: Lower left, "D.H. Dunston. Litho. Buffalo, Arizona."
: Lower right, "Copyright occured 1882 by Martin Fauch."
: Size is 16" x 20", color.
: Seeking any information about this print. May consider selling it. Any and all information will be appreciated.
I don't have a lot of information on the print itself. Martin Luther was part of the Catholic church at one time. He disagreed with some of the beliefs and broke away from the Catholic church to start the Lutheran church. I was at an auction on Friday August 15th and missed out on buying this print because the auctioneer wasn't paying attention. The print sold for $10.00. There was another print that had been with it and had the same type of events on it as the ones on the Martin Luther print. I am looking for this print though so if you would be interested in selling it let me know. I hope I helped you out some though. Is the print still in the frame? The one I saw was sold with the frame. I've seen them here and there and would ume there were more than just a few made. The print sold on Friday was in beautiful condition though. Hope I've helped you out. Again, if you do decide to sell it, I may be interested. Just give me an e-mail shout. Lisa G.
