I am currently auctioning an exceedingly rare 1552 book, the first collected works of Martin Luther, a huge volume, 12" x 8" x 4" thick; 7½ pounds: "Tomas Quartus Omnium Operum Reverendi Domini Martini Lutheri, Doctoris Theologiae, Continens Enarrationes in Ecclesiasten, Cantica Canticorum, Esaiam, Ezechielem, Daniclem, & in Prophetas minores, Opus insigne & etc. re aureum. Catalogum Singularem Partium inuenies post Praesatsonem. Witebergae Per Johannem Lusst, 1552, the first collected works of Martin Luther.

This huge, well-preserved volume is bound in tooled vellum. The 667 remarkably-clean sheets of heavy stock are numbered on one side only (1,334 pages), embellished with an exceptionally-fine woodcut title-border.
