: This is my brief ysis of the poem...
: He cannot be in love unless love is in a person. In other words, in order to be in love he must be physically attracted to the person. When he saw her, not only was he attractedto her body, but he realizes that there is more to love than attraction. This poem is about the absolute purity of both the body and of the soul. When she tells him of her love, he twists it into something less pure..."Twist women's love and men's will ever be." What he is saying is that women fall in love to easily. For a man to confess his love is not common, therefore it is more meaningful or "pure." A women's therefore isn't.
