Hello!
She was a widow of an Anabaptist from the law lands (Belgium). She had two children from her former marriage. Perhaps she also had three children. However, they all were dead, when they were babies. Calvin and she enjoyed nine years of married life – from 1540 to 1549(death).
Although she lived in the shadow of Calvin, she seemed to mean a great deal of him. Calvin called her “a woman of matchless type”. Further Beza also mentioned her as a “most remarkable woman”.
Calvin was really deeply moved by the death of his wife. She must be a woman of great faith and deep spirituality.

Sincerly,

: I'm looking for anything anyone can tell me about Idette deBure, the woman Calvin married while in Strasbourg. Are there books, online articles or other resources that I might find that could tell me about her, their marriage and/or her influence on the man?
: Thanks
