I taught a semester course on pilgrim's progress and was unable to locate adequate resources - one must do one's own research in this case - cliff's notes barely scratches the surface of this book

much is based on the Bible - old and new testament - the "true" path is based on Romans
I also researched Bunyan's life and there are many parallels to Christian's journey and Bunyan's personal journey - both wer willing to sacrifice all for their convictions
