: A Biography of James Hudson Taylor by Dr. Howard Taylor in the one volume edition is great. It was published in London by the China Inland Mission Overseas Missionary Fellowship in 1965, but is now out of print.
I am currently reading _J. Hudson Taylor: A Man in Christ_ by Roger Steer and am thoroughly enjoying it. My mother gave it to me. JHT was my great, great, grandfather on my mother's side, and his faith is an inspiration to me.
