: It was never proven that Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson)was on any type of drugs during the time that he wrote Alice in Wonderland. However, I have seen facts that he had taken "mushrooms" at one point in his life, but again, there is no proof that it was at the time of his writing. The drug LSD has been said to be responsible for his unique imagination, but however, LSD was not even around in England during the 1800's.
Uhhhh.. Yeah, he wrote the movie to show a choice between one life and another, to appeal to young kids, but to older teens, maybe younger teens. A movie to show choice between the backwards talking knight and life out of Alice's dream. Search for a few biography's and read through you could easily find proof, and you know something funny I'm posting this like months later. :)
