I am researching the lives of the seven sisters of Charles Dodgson. Does anyone live in the house he bought for his family called 'The Chestnuts'? It is still standing and appears to be in good conditon. Two of the sisters appeared to have died on the same day. Does anyone have any additional information?
: Charles Dodsgon is buried in Guilford Cemetary.
: His unmarried sisters (about 5) lived there and late in his life, he had a residence in the town. He may have bought the house for his sisters. As the oldest family male, he umed the financial responsibility for them.
