Sir, I grew up as an active christian rationalist and am not studying philosophy. I Have lately been considering the relation of my beliefs to catholics and jews and appreciated your posting. I do, however have one question. In rejecting Christianity were you not possibly rejecting a psudo-Christianity ? Christianity is not in essence any more contrary to judism than paganism is it? After all the nt. ,like ot. was, writen by jews. Christians have at times been anti-semetic. (martin luther) but so have jews been at times anti-christian. Nothing is proved. My question is also what your view of scriptural authority of the new testament is.
